Work Your Core
Initiate and execute your karate movement and techniques with speed and power from your HARA, also termed TANDEN, which includes your belly, hips, center of gravity, and core. As Hanshi says, "tighten your stomach muscles". Strengthen this area through our various training exercises especially Kata.
